1) ONE INTERESTING FACT ABOUT ME:
When I was in the 4th grade I took violin lessons for about a month. Eventually the teacher asked me to find something else to work on or she would be forced to retire as a music teacher.
2) WHAT DO YOU DO HERE AT GRACE CHURCH?
I have at various times been called the “missions pastor”, the “missionary in residence” and most recently a “missionary evangelist”. Whatever the specific title is, I’m one who does a bit of preaching and teaching around the globe and trying to help other believers realize that where ever they are is their mission field.
3) HOW DID YOU LEARN ABOUT JESUS?
I began attending church as a small child and have basically been in church my entire life.
4) FAVORITE EXPRESSION OR PHRASE?
Everyday above ground is a good day; admittedly some are better than others, but being alive is awesome.
5) FAVORITE CUP OF COFFEE?
I have been blessed in my life to receive an ordination into the ministry from two separate denominations without ever drinking coffee. It almost seems impossible that I’ve been able to achieve such an honor without ever drinking coffee, yet it’s true. The only good cup of coffee is the one someone else is drinking.
6) YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME WITHOUT…
A dream to go somewhere in the world to encourage missionaries, teach national leaders and preach the Word!
7) FAVORITE VERSE?
Jesus said, “You did not choose me, but I chose you…” (John 15:16a).
8) FAMILY
My wife Lisa and I have been married since our wedding day (June 23, 1984) and have 4 adult children who all serve the Lord, which as a parent, is my greatest delight!
