Pregnancy Care Center (PCC) opened its doors in the year 2000. Their goal is to help young women and men throughout southwest Missouri who are facing an unplanned pregnancy.  They offer free pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds and information on pregnancy options.

Most people know that their center helps people in the early stages of pregnancy by providing tests and ultrasounds. However, they also offer services throughout the pregnancy and even after delivery. PCC offers a wide range of classes on topics such as nutrition, relationships, money management, legal issues, and more.

Victory Mission is a place of help and hope to individuals and families in need.  Since 1976, they have been reaching out with the love of Jesus Christ to people who are hungry, homeless, hurting and struggling to meet their family’s basic needs in Springfield and the Ozarks.

Victory Mission is a non-denominational, evangelical ministry sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through emergency and educational services that aid people in need to rehabilitation, family reconciliation and re-entry into society. The Veterans Coming Home Center (VCHC) is the only day shelter for the homeless in Springfield. They partner with local churches and agencies to help meet the needs of unsheltered men and women. Each day, they provide protection from the elements, computers, meals, mail services, laundry, showers, and basic necessities such as clothing, shoes and blankets. Elevate Lives is a Springfield-based nonprofit that helps people overcome financial hardship. Their Pathway out of Poverty program connects people in need with community members to support, mentor and encourage them. It also provides participants with financial knowledge and wisdom to help them address underlying struggles.

Freshwater Church is a ministry in north Springfield that partners with local churches for their Powerpacks program. Powerpacks provide children from Williams Elementary with food so that their families have meals to eat over the weekend. For more information, visit https://freshwatersgf.com/.
