Session 3: Worship Like the Wise Men

The “Wise Men” came to see the child, guided by the star that led them there. As they arrived they worshiped with not only their words, and heart, they also worshiped through their giving with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Pastor Tim’s encouragement this Sunday is to not only worship like Mary and the Shepherds, but to worship like the Wise Men worshiped the Son of God – through giving.
Engagement Questions:
1) Why do you worship with your wealth or material possessions? How would you describe the value in expressing worship tangibly?
2) Do you often think of your status as an “outsider” who’s been “included” in the family of God? Why is it important to stay anchored to this truth? Who in your life is an “outsider?” How are you loving them toward the Lord?
