The Reason for the Gospel

For the gospel to be the “good news” that we all need to hear, there had to be a reason for it. What happened in the Garden of Eden that resulted in each of us needing a Savior?

In the second session of his sermon series “The Gospel” Pastor Tim unpacks sin and how it has impacted all of us and how Jesus is the “good news” of salvation for ALL OF US.

Engagement Questions:

1. Remember when you were spiritually “dead.” What was your life like? When and where did you believe the gospel for the first time? What was that first drink of living water like?
2. Many in our worlds believe they “are not that bad.” Because of this, they deny or minimize their great spiritual need. Take a moment and pray for a friend or family member who contends they are “okay” and therefore doesn’t need to believe the gospel.
